The author of the n[ui]x development libraries for MacOS X and the Nuix Company of Australia have decided jointly and in good faith to turn over the nuix.org domain to the Australian company by that name.

We together are hoping to end any ambiguity that we have created due to the similarity in domain names; this will allow the Nuix company and the open source project grow without causing confusion for customers and users while limiting legal issues between both parties.

It is my intention that by April 1st, 2007 the transfer of this domain to the Nuix company will begin. Hopefully by that time all of the users of the open source project will have changed their links.

I would like to thank those whom i have had contact with within the Nuix Company for their understanding and prompt responses.

The open-source project that formerly went by the name of "the n[ui]x Development Libraries" is now "MacUX" and can be found at http://www.macux.org/. Please update your bookmarks.
